Lirac - Domaine Pierre Usseglio - Red

Domaine Pierre Usseglio is a family-run estate founded in 1948 by grandfather Francis Usseglio. Today, the estate covers 39 hectares. Half of the vines are over 65 years old, while the other half are around 40 years old. The plots are spread across the entire Châteauneuf-du-Pape and Lirac appellation area. It is thanks to this diversity of terroir (limestone, rounded pebbles, sand, sandstone, and clay soils) that complex, silky, and balanced wines are produced. The Usseglio family is attentive to the soils and works the vineyard with respect throughout the seasons.
