Châteauneuf du Pape - Domaine Pierre Usseglio
Domaine Pierre Usseglio is a family estate created in 1948 by grandfather Francis Usseglio. Today, the estate covers 39 hectares. Half of the vines are over 65 years old, the other forty or so. The parcels are spread throughout the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation area, and it's thanks to this difference in terroir (limestone, pebble, sand, sandstone and clay soils) that complex, silky, well-balanced wines are produced. The Usseglio family pays close attention to the soil, and we work the vineyard with respect throughout the seasons.
