This private wine tasting workshop in our cellar will introduce you to the wines of Châteauneuf du Pape and to the basics of sommelier.
You will discover what gives our terroir and appellation their unique character and quality : the origin of the AOC Châteauneuf du Pape, the different types of soil that make up the terroir, the climate and its impact on the vines, the grape varieties authorized for blending the wines. You will also learn the fundamentals of wine tasting (visual, olfactory and gustatory examination) by sampling four different Châteauneuf du Pape wines.

Discover the different villages of the Rhone Valley and the wine classification system. The focus will be on Châteauneuf du Pape, the birth of the AOC and all the elements that make up its terroir (soil type, climate, grape varieties...).
