Let's meet at 10:30 a.m. in the parking of the Château de Châteauneuf du Pape for a presentation of the AOC and the terroir in the middle of the vineyards. During this introduction we will explore together the different types of soils, the birth of the AOC Châteauneuf du Pape, the climate and its impact on the vines.

We will then walk to our cellar in the heart of the village for a tasting of four different wines.

At the end of the wine walk you will have experienced an immersion in the world of Châteauneuf du Pape and its wines.

WINE WALKING TOUR IN THE HEART OF CHÂTEAUNEUF DU PAPE - 3h

Meeting point in front of the church of St. Theodorit (the oldest in Chateauneuf du Pape) at 9:30 am for a historical overview of the village, the richness of its terroir and its appellation.

Then we will visit the cellar of a committed and passionate winegrower to discover the different stages of wine making and taste their wines (Châteauneuf du Pape and Côtes du Rhône).

The last step of the tour will be to join our cellar in the heart of the old village for a tasting of Châteauneuf du Pape wines and an introduction to the basics of sommellerie.
