Beautiful Morning tasting
Absolutely wonderful morning walk and tasting session with Marlène - who was so knowledgeable and enthusiastic about CDP wines. We had never taken part in a tasting before, but she was so attentive and brilliant at explaining how to identify the attack, nose etc. Great value for money and super interesting - plus we managed to grab a bottle or two to take with us back to the UK. Can’t recommend highly enough, thank you Marlène!

Very good experience. Marlene gave us a comprehensive and professional insight to the Chateauneuf-du-pape area and it’s wines. Combined with great tasting we had a lovely afternoon session in the cellar. Recommended !

Un accueil en or et une dégustation de qualité !
Un accueil en or et une dégustation de qualité ! Marlène a su nous présenter divers vins et raconter l’histoire de la région. Nous avons beaucoup appris et dégusté des vins étonnants et savoureux. Une cave à découvrir et à promouvoir ! Nous avons également eu des conseils de fin de dégustation pour découvrir de super domaines et de bons restaurants. Un sans faute je recommande vivement !

Comme un moment de dégustation entre amis !
Lors de notre visite à la cave "Le Nez des Papes" nous avons fait la rencontre de Marlène une personne très agréable qui aime son métier et surtout le faire partager ! Nous avons dégusté pas moins de 6 ou 7 cuvées différentes (gratuitement) avec des tarifs variables mais plus que raisonnables et adaptés à chacun. En résumé, on est bien content d'avoir franchis la porte de cette cave située dans une petite ruelle en face de l'eglisse! Nous recommandons pour tout passage sur chateau neuf du pape !

Brilliant Wine Tasting
What a fantastic little tasting room right in the centre of Chateauneuf-du-Pape, we tasted some superb wines from some of the best local wineries and Marlène was a very informative and friendly host who spoke great English. She also recommended some great wineries to visit for when we continued our trip further north. Thanks so much Marlène!!

A true gem
We had a fantastic visit to Le Nez de Papes! A great, off the beaten path location, intimate setting and amazing collection of wines. Marlene was the best host and we had the best time tasting and learning about the region. Highly recommend a visit here!

Une pause régalade en toute simplicité
Une petite cave, simple et un immense sourire. Grâce à Marlène, nous avons passé un super moment et gouté des vins au top!! Elle nous a même rendu l'experience encore plus agréable en occupant notre petite de 4 ans avec des crayons de couleur :-) C'est un détail mais pour que papa et maman puissent se régaler c'est mieux de ne pas avoir à courir après elle :-) Bref jai acheté un carton d'une belle selection et me réjouis d'y gouter. Encore merci !!!

Amazing wine tasting session!
My partner and I discovered this place by luck, while walking around the village. We've been super lucky as we've had an amazing experience wine tasting at Les Nez des Papes! Marlène is a superb host and highly knowledgeable. She ensured we tried a good amount of wines in order to understand the peculiarities of the region. She also gave us some fantastic recommendations for a quick day trip. We are looking forward to going back and having a proper tour!

Un beau moment de partage et de découverte
Un superbe moment de partage avec mon Equipe Codir, une belle rencontre avec Marlène, notre guide du jour, qui a été au top du début à la fin de notre après midi. La visite de la cave de Jean a été très instructive tant au niveau intellectuelle que olfactive ou gustative, un jeune homme passionné par son métier et passionnant. Et la dégustation et explication de Marlène à la cave par la suite été extra, une jeune femme également passionnée par son métier, passion qu'elle nous a transmise à merveille. Merci pour ce moment.

Excellent experience and worth a visit
My brother-in-law wanted to visit Chateauneuf-du-Pape for a wine tasting on the last day of his stay with us in Provence. None of us know much about wine and felt nervous about just turning up, especially as it was unlikely we wanted to buy a huge quantity given the limitations on what could be taken back by plane. My wife, always the plucky one, saw Le Nez Des Papes down a side street and the sweet girl, Marlène, encouraged us to pop in and try some tasting. It turns out that Marlène, who is still learning her trade, was hugely knowledgeable, extremely patient and provided not only enough detail for us to follow (in perfect English) the background to CdP wines, but didn’t make us feel uncomfortable despite our naïve questions. We tried 4 wines, including a white CdP (not many know they also do white!), a Lirac (excellent alternative to the more expensive CdP) and two red CdPs. The reds included one with all 13 grape varieties (€48) and one with just 5 (€24). All were excellent and it was interesting to note the difference in aroma once Marlène suggested we swirl the wine in the glass before sniffing again. We didn’t make use of the “crachoir” – the spittoon – why waste such delicious wines?! We walked out clutching a variety from those we tasted, all 2021 vintage, but I know we won’t wait for them to mature the recommended 5+ years! A great experience, and well worth a visit if you are in the area. The village is now a magnet for the American visitors, which explains why the prices have gone through the roof – and why it’s also hard to find the White CdP in the shops. It’s been bought by the caseload and shipped to the USA. Thanks for the great experience, Le Nez Des Papes!

Ottima degustazione

Simple Sensational Sipping
We stopped in to this little hole in the wall for a quick look and ended up staying for a wine tasting with the wonderful Marlène. She was very engaging, knowledgeable and an excellent ambassador for the region and their wines. The samples we were given were all of excellent quality and they just kept getting better as we went through the tasting. Thank you Marlène for an excellent experience..

Great stop in the small town
